My dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ!
Greetings and Apostolic Blessings!
At this time of year, most of us find ourselves emotionally, physically and financially drained, our focus has been on greeting cards, gift lists and all of the other trappings that go along with the season.
I know that it becomes very difficult to keep our focus on the true meaning of Christmas, with all of the hustle and bustle that surrounds the holiday. But hopefully, we have prevailed.
Christmas is a time of Love. Love for God, Family and our fellow man. YES, as difficult as it may seem, our fellow man!
We must strive each and every day to live and love the Christ-Like life, by loving our God, with all our heart, mind and soul, and to love our brother as ourselves.
The Christmas Carol "O Come all Ye Faithful" tell us "the Joyful and Triumphant" to come and adore him, Christ the Lord!
We are the "Faithful", we are the "Joyful and Triumphant" because of our belief in him who was born in a manger so many years ago, who was sent by his Father in Heaven to redeem us. And of course we are the "Joyful and Triumphant" because we are assured of Eternal Life by the "Truth, the Way, and the Life!"
So when we gather with family and friends today, let us be thankful to Almighty God, Father, Son, And Holy Spirit for this wonderful time we will share with loved ones, and for all of his goodness.
May Our Heavenly Father bestow his choicest blessings on us all!
Peace and Blessings,
Robertus Mattheus
