Fr. Roger,
Greetings!
I thought what you asked Bishop Queen was interesting, so I searched online and found this one from the St. Andrew's Charasmatic Episcopal Church, the rector is Fr. Joe, also a member of this website.
God's blessings!
Father Brown, Florida
My dearest friend St. Carlos, who renounced the power, honor, and riches of this world, you know how iniquity hurt and how hopeless it is, you who were humiliated and misunderstood. For this, I humbly ask you to watch over the homeless, abandoned and rejected people, and for me also who is seeking for your special help. I confidently ask you for the grace of (say your request) even though it seems to be impossible, I want to count on and await your intercession as the saint of urgent causes. Amen. |

Fr. Brown,
Thanks for posting this prayer of intercession. It is a very powerful act of intercession, as we use it often. This prayer is on the Patriarch's website and I had a fellow priest have it translated while he was in Brazil.
Could you tell me more about your parish in Florida?

Fr. Joe,
Greetings! To answer your question as to the parish here. I do not have a parish here anymore. I once had about three of them. Two was in nursing homes which I loved doing. I am a missionarian that helps the homeless, and addicted.
The state has made it more harder for small churches or ministries to even survive. Many local communities are demanding that we pay the tax of occupational permits which I disagree with. When they find out what type of ministry I have, they tell me I can't have it here.
I was mostly a chaplain for a local fire department which I enjoyed very much. I am going to miss them all. I am being transferred to where the Lord needs me most. I have a wonderful Archbishop and a bishop who works closely with me and supervises me very carefully.
Another part of my ministry was helping families who are torn by tthe state foster care system. I was the voice of the families who asked to be reunited with their children.
God's blessings!
