I am deeply disturbed to learn that you can pay some bishops to consecrate one to be a bishop. The same goes for one who wants to be ordained to the priesthood, they have to pay their bishop a large donation in order to get ordained.

I am learning that there are thousands out there that are like that, and this bothers me greatly.

My concerns are this is not valid. What do you think?
